Editorial Review for Burke Baker Planetarium – by Darcy De Leon
In Short
SkyVision, a state-of-the-art, high-resolution video technology, made its world premiere here, turning space travel into virtual reality. The system displays real-time images from the Hubble Space Telescope with special effects like moving planets, eclipses, sunsets and sunrises. The redesigned theater offers a ramped floor and tilted seats for 194 people with a full view of the seamless, 50-foot projection screen. All this was made possible through a grant provided by NASA.

I recently went to the planetarium, and they showed a movie about the Dead Sea Scrolls...NO STARS. A waste of my money. Not what I expected, and the ticket counter didn't tell me. Just make sure they're showing stars before you buy your ticket.
